PhoenixDB

Designed to open classic databases and HyperCard stacks.

One of the Phoenix readers: modern Mac apps designed to open classic documents as the original application showed them on screen or printed them, and to export them for modern apps. Their reading and rendering code is being built as shared kits, much of it already used by Disk Phoenix.

Designed to open: ClarisWorks/AppleWorks databases, FileMaker and HyperCard. HyperCard scripts are shown, not run.

PhoenixDB is in design. It’s at the design stage: no app has been built yet.

Distribution

Planned for the Mac App Store. The readers are designed to run sandboxed.
